After an epic 30-day shoot in the Himalayas of India in September of 2025, we entered post-production and had the first three stunning episodes edited.
Then on June 15th, 2026 Anand Mehrotra became the subject of multiple public allegations of sexual misconduct. While there has been no legal adjudication of these matters at this time, the filmmaker acknowledges and supports the individuals who have come forward. The post production of Wheels of Awakening has been shut down. The presence of Anand in any of our previous content and documentaries The Road to Dharma and The Highest Pass, does not imply endorsement of him or his alleged actions. Furthermore, that content was produced and distributed years before the public allegations arose in 2026.
None of the allegations arose from time during the Wheels of Awakening pilgrimage.
